Got a question about Russian games industry and too lazy to write me an e-mail? Ask it here in comments and I (or somebody else) will answer.

Is there a way to subscribe old-school way, like with e-mail?

How do you feel about the “Russian” player base? Do you think the infamy is earned or is it something else? (Like a problem of communication between Russian and non-russian people due to language etc)

Russian PC gamers are generally younger than US or European gamers, especially ones that enjoy competitive games, like Dota 2 or Call of Duty.

All more or less mature PC gamers from Russia were drained by World of Tanks or Warthunder, so you’re left with angry teenagers. That’s why people outside Russia think about Russian gamers as a bunch of foul-mouthed kids – because they’re a vocal majority in certain PC games.

Console gamers are still a minority in Russia, but they aren’t that different from console gamers in Europe.

Russian mobile gamers prefer Android f2p titles and in this way are a little bit closer to Asian audience. Still, there is a healthy market for paid games for iOS devices in Russia. Russian AppStore is now is one of Top 5 AppStores in the world.

    Deeply undercover.

You might as well put it as a slogan.
